Top Finishers: 1-2-3 Go! Runners who place in any division in either race receive top finisher medals. Time Limit for Half-Marathon…  The course is open for three hours from 10:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., leaving plenty of time for all runners to complete the challenge. Parking arrangements…   There is ample FREE parking at the Ashland MBTA commuter rail station lot (on Saturday-Sunday of race weekend only) just steps away from Marathon Park, but please be advised that Pleasant Street will be closed at 9 a.m.on race day. If you are able to get to the event early you are welcome to park at the T lot on the Pleasant Street side. If you are running late you are going to be re-directed to the T lot on the other side of the tracks accessible via Route 135. There is a walkway over the tracks to the start at Marathon Park. There are other parking options available, click button below for your options on race day. Please plan accordingly. Note there is no parking at the VFW on Race Day, or on Connect Community Church property at any time. CLICK FOR YOUR PARKING OPTIONS Refunds, Deferments & Transfers…   Because registration fees form the backbone of the event and that money is spent in gradual increments as the race approaches on items from shirts to public safety, the Ashland Half-Marathon & 5K Organizing Committee adheres to the following set of rules (requests must be submitted by the dates & times indicated below through the e-mail link on site’s homepage):  Runners may apply for a full refund until midnight August 15. Runners may apply for a 50-percent refund from August 16 until midnight October 1. From October 2 until Friday midnight before the race, runners may choose to defer their registration to our race the following year. (Only a single deferment allowed per registration.) Bibs may be transferred to another runner up until Sunday midnight, 7 days before the race, for a one-time $20 transfer fee. (Contact us through e-mail concerning procedure assuring liability protection and correct timing.) A runner may switch from half-marathon to 5K if the request is e-mailed in using the link found on the homepage by midnight of Thursday prior to event. (Note that the 5K fee charged will be the rate current on date of change.) NOTE: If none of the above steps are utilized by the time noted, the registrant, unfortunately, forfeits the registration fee.
